Hi parents,

You enrolled your child at Rising Sun Martial Arts for more than just physical movement and self-defense.

You enrolled them because you want them to also grow up with:

  • Confidence to speak up and believe in themselves.

  • Discipline to stay focused when things get hard.

  • Courage to keep going when most kids stop.

That’s why we’re not afraid of struggle in our classes — we welcome it.

Because every time your child says, “I don’t want to go today,” and you encourage them to go anyway…

Every time they’re nervous to spar but step on the mat anyway…

Every time they are scared to hit coordinate a stick pattern and make mistake...

Every time they try, fall short, and still show up the next day…

They’re not just learning martial arts.

They’re becoming someone who doesn’t give up on themselves!

That’s the student we see in YOUR child.

We know there will be days when they’re tired, discouraged, or unmotivated. That’s part of it.

But we’ll be here, reminding them (and you) that you’re not raising a quitter — and we don’t train them either.

In your corner!
